Mrs. Sarah King, Formerly of Lynn

Lynn-Mrs. Sarah (O’Donnell) King of 184 Perkins row, Topsfield, formerly of Lynn, died Saturday in Newburyport Hospital after a brief illness.  She was the wife of the late Patrick J. King.  Born in County Galway, Ireland, she had resided in Lynn for 70 years before moving to Topsfield eight years ago.

She is survived by three sons, Patrick J. King, retired district chief of the Lynn Fire Department, M. Paul King and Peter V. King, also of Lynn; also four daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Catherine) DeBonis of Winthrop, Mrs. William (Margaret) Bourne of Newport, R.I., Mrs. James (Marie) Taylor of North Windham, Conn., and Mrs. Primo (Mildred) Lombardi of Topsfield; also 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. King was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church when she lived in Lynn.

Funeral will be held from the Garrett J. Wall Funeral home Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church at 11.  Internment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
